RADHASOAMI

Bachan Babuji Maharaj

The need to achieve care and clarity of vision

1. The way to meet the (मालिक) Master or God is through the door of eyes. Both vision and hearing need to be cultivated and hearing is more subtle and advanced, but it is needed later. First of all, we have to do the sadhana of sight and only after going through the door of the eye, will we be able to meet the Malik. That's why sight has a great status among the sense organs. There is a need to watch very carefully that the door through which one meets the Master should be clean and pure and clear like glass. As far as possible, there should be no filth in it. That is why it is said,

नैन श्रवण और हिरदा तीनों ।

Nain shravan aur hiradhaa theenon

शीश महल सम निरमल जान ।।

Sheesh mahal sam nirmal jaan

Nain - eye (vision) shravan (listening) hiradha (heart) these three

Should be as clean and pure like a castle of glass

2. Apart from संत मत (sant mat), the faith of the saints, almost all the other practices of the faiths of the world meditation is through the organs of action, which are gross. In the practices of the previous ages, even if ‘Jnana Indriyas’, the senses of knowledge were used the ascent was possible to some extent through only their external and gross organs. Merely doing penance or doing work according to the method of Karma Kand is absolutely gross and extroverted. It does not count in any way.
